When did we stop being able to just say nice things? A compliment stopped being a compliment. Congratulations became a strategy. And I know how it happened because I was part of it. For years I operated exactly the way I’m now writing against. This week I’m putting it all down. The poaching, the pledge we’re making, and why I think we lost the plot somewhere along the way.
